Mr Johnson's Advance Hamster & Gerbil Food is a complementary food suitable for all species of hamsters and gerbils. The nutritious, healthy and tasty pellets provide the pet with a monocomponent feed that prevents selective feeding. Hamsters & gerbils are omnivorous, meaning their diet must consist of grains, vegetables and animal protein. This feed contains protein for cell, organ and tissue function, vitamins and minerals to strengthen the immune system, and essential oils for healthy skin and coat. With Verm-X® which is a 100% natural blend of herbs that provides natural control of intestinal hygiene, and Bio-Moss® which is a prebiotic that supports the intestinal microflora.

Feeding instructions:

Mr Johnson's Advance Hamster & Gerbil Food is a supplementary food and should be given with a daily portion of suitable fresh vegetables and a small piece of lean cooked meat, such as chicken, twice a week. Hamsters can also be fed a small amount of good quality hay. As a treat, an occasional small portion of fresh fruit, a few dried mealworms or a small hard-boiled egg is ideal. There must be access to fresh water 24 hours a day.
