CARBUP combines glucose, fructose and isomaltose in one formula. Glucose and fructose are absorbed through different transport mechanisms in the intestine, while isomaltose provides an additional carbohydrate source with a different absorption profile. The combination of multiple carbohydrate sources is commonly used in products intended for consumption before and during endurance exercise.

Directions for Use

Mix the powder with 500-750 ml of water depending on the desired concentration and activity duration.

• Before exercise: 80 g powder mixed with 500 ml water approximately 1 hour before activity
• During exercise (90+ minutes):

• High intensity: 80-90 g per hour
• Moderate intensity: 60 g per hour
• Low intensity: 40-50 g per hour

One heaped tablespoon equals approximately 20 g. Shake thoroughly for 1-2 minutes before use.
