REJSEHOLDET

The film 'Rejseholdet: Det første mord' tells the story behind Denmark's first rejsehold and holdets første kriminalgade.

The year is 1927 and the ambitious policeman Otto Himmelstrup is given the task of leading the newly started Rejsehold - a team of investigators who will help the local police circles with solving particularly difficult crimes.

When a body is found in a burned-down summer house in Esbjerg, Otto and his team begin to uncover an unusual murder mystery that reveals power struggles and corruption among the town's leaders.

The crime film 'Rejseholdet: Det første mord' is based on Jacob Jonia's novel 'Den österste gränse'. The manuscript was written by Lasse Kyed Rasmussen together with the film's seasoned director, Christoffer Boe (Journal 64).

Alex Høgh Andersen, Mathilde Arcel and Nicolaj Kopernikus play the three central investigators, while Mille Hoffmeyer Lehfeldt, Lars Ranthe and Kristian Halken also take part.
